Best described as a medium fine duplex reticle in the 2nd focal plane - stays the same throughout change in magnification.
I can also confirm it's % free of tube crimping. At the risk of stating the obvious but with a desire to be open and truthful, the glass is not in the same league as Zeiss etc.
This scope has now been mounted on my .243 and very nice it is too! The optics may not be Zeiss (I've never used a Zeiss scope) but they are very bright and clear with good contrast, sharp to the edges with no fringing. I look forward to using it to drop a roe or two.
