Bushbuck Kayahan X Silent Gaiters

Following on from the Yeti post, I am looking for a pair of quiet gaiters. I considered neoprene but the Macgaiters don’t seem to have a strap underneath - and I tend to wear low ankle boots (not 10” high ones…) so I am a bit concerned about them riding up the leg. It can be quite “tick-y” so even putting aside dryness considerations I would rather have the additional gaiter protection fixed to the boot.
I saw some Bushbuck Kayahan Silent Gaiters which can apparently be shipped from NZ (no postage mentioned on the mfr sales site, but they will price in Sterling) - and these do have a strap underneath and are apparently quiet and decently water resistant.
Does anyone have any experience of these - or whether I am being overly concerned about the Macgaiters (and in practice even in heather etc they stay put and don’t ride up)?
Thank you in advance!

had mine for about 7 years now still an awesome bit of kit
I also have had a pair for many years & find them fantastic, not to mention quiet. With Meindls & these gaiters I can wade quickly across knee deep streams/burns & still not get wet feet. The only issue I find is that they are very warm.

I use monarch munro gaiters. On their second season for me. Completely silent due to the material.
Not found any ticks in them. Not had any ticks on me while wearing them. But I wear rovince socks and trousers as well.
Heather, peat bog and what ever else I fall in I don't even think about them. Solid zips and Paracord under the mid sole.
As all kit should be.... Put on and forgotten about until you take it off.
