Buying direct from MDT canada

Me also, I wonder if it’s worth approaching a UK company to buy as a group buy…?

May help lower the price if multiple units bought at same time?
Id buy one in the uk but they all have no idea of time scale when you ask, its either weeks, or months,
and im still waiting for my license back from a variation so couldn't even send details of that if i ordered one from MDT,
iv just had a turbotune feed lip tool sent from MDT and that was here in 8 days, not a word from UPS ther than a delivery time email,
you would think one shop in the uk would stock a few, ok if you have a Remington as there's some of them about.
im now looking at a vision pro instead,

im now looking at a vision pro instead,

I have a Vision chassis on my Sako TRG (from when they were still Vision & Design, so not a Pro) and an MDT XRS on my CZ457. The quality of the Vision chassis is out of this world, and whilst allowing that the XRS is the budget end, the Vision is still in another league.

see that on here mate and thought it looked class. i thought that was the TRG stock, looked at them rifles and they were a hell of a lot of money so gave up on that idea,
defiantly looking at one now 👍

Are there no M-lok slots on the bottom?

i didnt realise they do 2 versions, iv only seen the pro, and that didnt have M- Lok on the bottom rail so i can attach my Accu tac bipod

I’m not sure they do anymore, I’m pretty sure they no longer make the chassis I have, for the TRG, but they still sell parts for it

This is the forend I have

Have you ever watched a documentary on the foot and mouth artists? It's quite incredible how we humans can adapt to physical difficulties.

Ordered a HNT 26 and was allowed to use a US discount after a nice e email.
Order to in my sweaty hands was <2weeks. They e mailed me some paperwork which I initially got wrong or it would have been even quicker.
Customer service was stellar
I can’t say enough positive things about whole experience.

that sounds better, did you have to show them your license, i dont mind that but i dont have it at the moment as its away on a variation, which is awaiting printing, i have a picture of the front of it,

I've done this a lot, UPS are pretty simple to deal with. Once the package arrives at customs, you get sent an RIF document, fill it in, send them a picture of page one of your FAC and the package arrives a few days later.

Every now and then UPS mess something up and it adds delays, it's a simple process just give them what they need to clear the goods and nothing more/less.

True, but I’m very dubious about giving a copy of my FAC to anyone who doesn’t actually need it, and for non-pressure baring parts, UPS do not need it. For any parts that you do need to present your FAC for, you must not provide a copy, only the original. So either way, UPS are not entitled to a copy, nobody is.
It even says on the paperwork you get with your FAC not to copy it and not to make it available to anyone who does not have a legitimate need to see it.

I've recently bought direct from MDT, they couldn't have been more helpful. Keeping me updated, dealing with paperwork etc.
It was UPS / Customs at this end that made thingsdifficult, left hand didn't know what the right was doing.
I emailed the persons with the different forms when asked for, MDT had already supplied them.
As for the RIF form I put my name and 'personal use' where required and ticked 'No' to the rest of the questions. No information about my certificate was asked for nor given.
Stock turned up a couple of days later.

Were you hit with any extra fees, vat duty etc when it arrived in UK.
Or is the price you see on the MDT website in cart the price you pay?
