The season has started here and I’m catching a good few... anyone in need of a call bird can collect one J9 M20, msg to arrange details.

Going strong here, have 2 pairs so far.

Starting to see them pair up near us, but haven’t spotted them on the farm yet, and accordingly haven’t caught any call birds yet for our two traps - keen to get started on them though!
Would you have a spare bird for me if I drop you a message? Can return the favour with one from us one caught!

Old country saying.. “believe nothing of that which you hear and only of half that you see”

If as you were told that Mapies were now protected certain areas would within a matter of a couple of years be completely devoid of songbirds, in fact I cannot recall the last time I saw or heard a Thrush here in rural Kent.

I have now made available 3 call birds and another goes this morning.

Unfortunately they have been removed from the GL in Wales...absolute nonsense.....We have dozens at home and absolutely nothing I can do other...good old devolution ...
