Hi All,

This scorpion was found at my place of work (North London) earlier this week. I know its not a great photo but it's the best I have. We have no idea what species it is as it now been confirmed that it's not an european yellow tailed scorpion by experts. It's now been sent to the Natural History Museum for identification. I'm assuming identification will take several weeks or more hence me asking on this forum.

After many months the scorpion has finally been ID'ed and its a first for the UK. It's a Mexican Scorpion, Vaejovis mexicanus. This has been ID'ed by the Natural History Museum. I believe it's going to be featured in a TV program.

Arrived with some avocados or escaped as a pet?
