The Carl Gustaf 3000 was the Sauer Model 80 assembled under license in Sweden. The CG-3000 had a German bolt and receiver and a Swedish barrel. The other parts were all German except for the stock.
Anyway I picked up a CG 3000 in .30-06 and it is a wonderful rifle. It shoots sub MOA.
I bought mine second hand here in Canada and I had a Swarovski Z3 4-12x50 scope mounted using steel Weaver style rings
