As previously mentioned on here why keep your safe keys in a £10 key safe which could be removed and opened in minutes. Only use it as a decoy.!
As for recording ammo mine has a few hundred .22lr on it simply because I reload all my CF ammo..

You have to question whether the police are fit to be entrusted with firearms licensing, it is the role of parliament to make laws, not FLDs on some random basis that suits their fancy.

Indeed. Surely, nobody would put a gun cabinet key safe where it can be easily found? I hope those who use them for their cabinet keys have the device properly hidden and not in full view like an AirBNB set-up.

Mind you, almost any gun cabinet can be opened in mins with a cordless angle grinder. Concealment is, er, key.

The only records I write down are for load development and rounds fired(for cleaning and barrel life).
