Cheap chinese mini digger / excavators

Hello, If you mean JPC how can they make them at that price ?? The HT 12 at £4000
The workers' wages are a bowl of rice and an egg each day, the steel is mixed with chocolate to keep the overall costs down, and I hope you liked Meccano when you were a child, because it all comes in bits, in a big wooden crate, with the destructions in Mandarin.

But at that price, it's worth a punt if you can have a demo :)

You get what you pay for.
The engine horsepower seems to low to give it the grunt for digging and tracking etc, I'd also be wary about spares, which you will need, know mater how good an operator you are.
I stuck with a s/h Volvo and multiple attachments.

Hickey.
I got a remote lawnmower at auction ( was advertised as a mulcher)

I think like most things it depends wot u want it too do, how ruff is the vegetation, how often do u cut and how long will it have to run.
And how much can u afford to pay?
Possibly more important how much can u afford to lose?
While it us nice owning ur own gear and can do it ourself when u want.
Often it would be cheaper to just hire a contractor who has the gear, by the time u buy it, running costs and any repairs/breakdowns etc.

My 1 id doing wot i needed and I was not too dear for being brand new.
Was less than 25% the price off even a budget brand with some sort of back up.
And if/when the electrics stuff up i will still have a lawn mower I could put wheels on, as its a decent enough loncin engine/mower

While I think the Chinese build quality is getting better.
I think their can be a lot of Fri afternoon mowers at the bottom end of market.
I think it can be a bit of a lottery.
And unless u know a bit about electronics/RC stuff I have no idea how u get parts etc.

I think if ur pushing their capabilities to the max they will break long before a ' proper' 1 and then u have the mission off finding spare parts and dilemma of throwing any more cash at it.

Mine really does not like barrel rolling 5m down a bank thou.
Bizarrely the petrol engine starts no problem, the thing that u'd expect not to like running upside down.
But the electrics go all wonky but then seem to right themselves if u leave it for a few days ( hopefully, well have in the past, still parked up after its last barrel roll 2 weeks ago)
Can't decide if I should make some out riggers for it or a counter balance for the uphill side, as the banking is just too steep for it.
Which would off likely happened with a better mower too.

Their business rates have not gone up by 100%
Their employers national insurance has not gone up
Their minimum wage has not gone up
Their sickness benefits have not gone up
It doesn’t take a 6 month battle with planning to change the seat on the bog
50% of the cars sold in Tibet are not bought by the government under a mobility scheme
They don’t fund new Mercs or BMW’s for those on the dole
Profit isn’t a dirty word
They don’t have DEI
They are focussed on can you do the job not what you identity is
They put the hours in ie 996
They don’t think they are entitled to a living
They have aspirations for a better life
Their doctors don’t give out certificates for adhd, autism, ptsd, gender dysmorphia like smarties
They aren’t run by the SNP

Easy really

Can you imagine a project run by the SNP to create a budget mini digger.....

Don't do it - absolute garbage - i made the mistake of buying a chinese tractor from an absolute rogue dealership in Somerset - cowling agri - absolute crooks, the tractor was a bag of sh*te, wouldn’t start or run right, low on power - just about the worst build quality.

I bought a much older John Deere and it’s been an absolute joy to own and run.

Buy chinese at your own risk!

Ordering one in the morn should be here by the end of the week ! Have read all the reviews and company I'm speaking to has been there 30 years and is offering aftersales service ( not the cheapest option ) they also do a flail mower attachment 🤔

If it works OK, can I borrow it ? 😄😄😄

A farmer I know bought a Chinese £7500 brand new tractor just for clearing slurry around the milking parlours , he's had it 3yrs
and never a problem, and lately he said its air con is better than his JCB equipment.

Good luck with it.
Makes a massive difference when an established dealer sells them and backs it up.

Are the flails made by the same company?

Usually require decent hyd flow rates and cooling.
Can heat up pretty quick if ur doing much.
Depending wot ur mulching but a lot of pro contractors will carry battery leaf blowers for blowing the rads out daily.
Esp if a lot of fluffy polleny type vege ( willows etc)

At 2.5T wot will it mulch up to 3 or 4"??
