Chrony f1 problems

My chrony f1 keeps coming up with error 2 when you switch it on and won't clear. It won't take a reading. It did get slightly damp the other day. Anyone any ideas, or does it need fixing with a new one.

It just says second sensor didn't pick up bullet but nothing has been fired over it

Have you tried a new battery, had the same kind of problem and was told they can be very intolerant of even slightly discharged ones, the new battery solved the problem.
