Hikmicro zero issues any alternative?

I prefer tradition, reliability and simplicity. Point and shoot - and forget kind of thing. Although thermal and night vision add ons and scopes are legal here and a lot of guys are using them I just can't make myself to go and pay thousands of euros for a chinese device with 2 year warranty that seems to be fussy about holding zero (no doubt many times also due to complexity of the device and consequential user erorr).

Has anyone sent their unit back or made hik or elite aware of the issue ? They will no doubt realise an update if we all are having similar issues ?

This is a concerning thread - the last thing any stalker wants is a wandering zero optic on his rifle.
It is of some particular concern when reportedly Hic’s representatives advise to change a setting as a fix - all this does to me is confirm that the issue is known about but apparently has not been sorted.
Frankly it matters not whether the reported shift is down to a combination of day/night/zoom adjustments - it should not happen.
Now call me old-fashioned but missing a deer as a result of one’s own efforts is bad enough but wounding a deer for whatever reason, especially an optic failure, is quite unacceptable. It needs sorted…

Very simple solution to the problem!

Use glass 👌

Just posted on facebook about my hikmicro aplex 4k having zero issues, shot two deer at 150m bang on and had some cracking shots with it but last two weeks randomly missed 2 easy shots and when checked footage back and checked zero it was bang on, lots of people seem to be having the same issue, i just dont trust it now, just watched a deercast video after someone told me to go take a look aswell and i just cant be using it they had issues aswell, people have said theyve had no issues with the c50? does anyone have any reccomendations on day night scopes, good or bad looking for as many reccomendations and issues as i can so i can make an informed decision on weather i just have to go back to glass or there is a day night scope that doesnt have these issues thanks
Im a bit late to the party on this one, have a friend who bought a new Bergara, zeroed with glass and held no issues, swapped to a c50 and it held for about a week of use, then wasnt - checked zero and on paper it was okay. this cycle went on for a couple of weeks and he couldnt figure out what was going on, every shot was on the money on paper but some silly misses - he thought it was user error and was going to change the stock, re-barrel and all sorts of ideas. in the end he ended up taking the C50 off and buying a Hik and it has stayed zeroed perfectly ever since.

1 man on this thread that has common sense 👌

You pay good money for a two year warranty for a Ning Nang Macca dinging Dan digital scope, because that’s what they are, you might have pulsar / HIC stamped on them, but in reality they’re just Chinese 💩, or you can pay the same money and get a scope without batteries with the 10 to 15 year warranty what does that tell you?
