Container game larder conversion cost vs ready built modular unit

So

Asking if anyone has experience of the costs to convert a insulated high cube refrigerated shipping container to accommodate a working game larder with basic spec of

Winch, rail system, washing area, drain, air distribution, conversion from 3 ph to 240 if applicable

As opposed to the cost of a drop in to site ready made larder unit (Gray Adams, Fischer etc)

Say a 4 mtr x 2 mtr storage (chill area ) and working space for prep and clean prior to moving carcass to chill

Not looking at building conversions, (though recent threads have been very informative) - purely modular container in an outside position (site would be prepped properly with necessary supplies and drainage )

Insight, experiences and costings would be most apreciated

I converted an insulated lorry back into a complete deer larder and butchery facility, using mostly 2nd hand equipment and fittings.
I don't have the figures to hand right now (I'm at an event, selling venison), but it was considerably cheaper than a bespoke unit. I think less than a third of the price, iirc.

"If" you had to move it as some times things do change then where would it go? I hope it stays put for many years but what would plan B be?
From a fab side having repaired and cut containers about (put side doors) made buildings from them by cutting slots for roofing unit beams then stacking them and racking them out for car parts, they are not so nice to work in.
I would not do it in the winter as everything is damp all the time also dark all the time lol. Just my 2 bob's worth

Would be specific location with services underground and permanent

Conversion of a refrigerated high cube unit appears initially to be less costly than bespoke

The thing with a container is that...it looks like a container. This MAY be important as being at casual viewing a supposed moveable object it may avoid planning restrictions that would affect a structure that to the looker on is obviously a permanent structure. When I worked in warehousing for Land Rover's UK spares - Neovia at Desford, Leicestershire - we had left permanently in place in the eighty acre site four standard containers that stationery, office supplies and office furniture was stored in. They were properly ventilated (but not ever heated) so were always dry even if cold and so damp and condensation were not a problem. It's when you put heating (that isn't then left on 24/7/365) inside an outbuilding or structure that you often get condensation issues. It's why the outbuilding that I have my lathe in isn't heated...so no rusting problems.

@Ronin - no connection to the seller but have you seen this?

Compared to what the Fisher unit we have cost about 18 months ago, this is a no brainer as a starting point & a blank canvas as far as fitting out to your spec goes.

Incidentally, the Fisher unit we have was not supplied with any water or drainage services fitted, it is literally an insulated box fitted out inside, overhead rails, chiller unit, door, winch & electrics. Don’t get me wrong, it’s ideal for our needs & was literally craned off the back of a lorry onto the pre-prepared pad, connected to power (another story all together…) & was ready to go.

That's going to be hard to beat
