In my experience the most useless piece of junk i have ever encountered.

They’re slightly better with HV rounds but still jam up...you can spend a fortune in them to get them so they function more reliably but it will still be about as accurate as a bolt action...and you lose some velocity with them too.

I must be lucky. I have had the same 10/22 for around 25 years and it is still the same old reliable piece of kit. Give it the occasional clean and it keeps on ticking along. The majority of failures to feed have been generally down to the ammo being unsuitable (applies to most .22 autos) or a dodgy aftermarket magazine.......

Sure, the sky is the limit if you want to start adding all the bells and whistles, but that's the same with any gun.

I know they are a bit marmite but I seriously can't fault mine had it for forty yers and would not part with it a 10/22 carbine totally standard accurate enough out to a hundred yards ,what more do you need from a .22
Yes they can jam but keeping the mag clean can eliminate a lot of that mine will handle anything from subs to HV
Largely without issue. Encounter a very occasional jam butt no more than I would expect from any semi-auto.
