Coronavirus: Police may only deal with serious crime in case of mass COVID-19 outbreak

I dare not ask for the definition of serious crime? How did China cope with this and why is it that all of a sudden the messages from the government are mostly negative.

I wonder if the percieved impact caused by the Corona virus will be greater than Brexit or climate change, which seems to have gone to the back pages.

Unless some one is murderd they ain’t bothered
never mind old ladys getting battered for there purse, shocking

In terms of how China coped, compared with the very negative comments coming from the govt - I think the main reason is because China have a fairly totalitarian government which has the ability to shut down and isolate major cities/areas of outbreak. The UK and Europe as a whole don't have that level of control, and hence the perceived risk of spread is much greater over here.

"Police will only deal with serious crime in case of Covid 19 outbreak" - It'll be interesting to know how they are going to define "serious crime"? ;)

Just become a drug dealer the competitions a little fierce but a great turnover ,no overheads as you can stand or park your car in front of any shop and get your customers as they pass ,no insurance needed on vehicles so as to aid dumping, and if your business is slow just take your kids to school for a change and sell outside there. very little chance of prosecution the same familys been doing it around here for thirty+ years.
