As per title, I have the above in 17HMR 16” varmint barrel ( I believe ) can anyone let me know yes or no if my rifle can have a Boyd Thumbhole Stock that has previously been on 455 fitted, are they compatible or are the action screw holes etc off ?
Thanks .

Its a stuggle finding a stock for a 452 i have one and wint part with it , Ive just 3d printed a chassis system and prs style stock for it

Really? Boyds routinely carries them in stock. IIRC, they do ship to the UK, or at least have a UK distributor.
Im not keen on the boyds stuff , i was looking for a chassis type stock but they a a ridiculous price and i think there are only 2 companies that make them

Ah, yeah, that would be an issue. The only option I'm aware of is to buy an un-inletted chassis (many companies will do this if you ask) and then have a CNC machine shop to scan your action and inlet the chassis (IIRC a 457 chassis has the right dimensions, but different action screw hole locations and slightly different bolt handle slot). It would be cost prohibitive though.

I went through this, when I was considering having a chassis inletted for a barreled 1727F action. Fortunately, they (Anschutz) came out with their AI chassis'ed rifle, so it became a moot project.

A KRG bravo might also be an option, since the internal bar of their chassis system could probably be had fairly cheaply.
