CZ 457 Barrels.

With the CZ 457 being able to interchange barrels ( as was the 455 ), do you need a variation on your ticket for each additional barrel, should you so decide to catch that particular bus ?.
I would assume so, but I thought I'd ask you good folks.

If I'm well enough, I'm going up to Gilsans in Melsonby tomorrow where I took it to P/X and found it to be missing, as they have found a bolt and believe it to be mine ?. If it isn't, it's a hell of a coincidence wouldn't you say ?.

I never bought into switch barrels on rifles . I still run 452 Cz rifles with short Barrels

Fingers crossed for you - although explaining to plod that the bolt you realised you’d lost when you were at the gun shop was actually there all the time could be an interesting conversation

Yes, a variation is needed for an additional barrel. The advice is that it should be first fitted by a reputable gunsmith too, headspace and all that.

That was the case with the CZ455, no such instructions on the CZ457. Maybe they have tightened the tolerances?
