Trying to delete this post admin please .. found out my rail is sold as fits new cz457.... it doesn't, other rails have the correct holes.. looks like it's going back ... more waiting ✋😌

Can't help on the rail you have, but congrats on the MTR, I bought one six weeks ago. (Also another 457, this time a Synthetic, three weeks ago)

I went for an Area419 rail for the MTR, which clamps from the sides. Lovely bit of kit, but couldn't find a UK supplier with stock, so ended up ordering direct, and getting a couple of other things in the order.

I went for a BKL-558 one piece dovetail to weaver rail for the synthetic, but while it is great for individual rings, it doesn't match up with a single piece mount which fits on the Area419.

So, if you can, get an Area419 one if you can find one locally, or order direct. Delivery was quick, once UPS had been paid for them to pay the import VAT.

Only the right hand two holes line up to centre the rail on the ejection port. I don't see anything wrong with your rail. If you slide the rail on with no grub screws inserted, position the rail so that the two holes adjacent to the ejection port align. Then tighten the two grub screws up in these two holes. Once they are snug, insert the four remaining small grub screws.

Yes, but I think he's trying to avoid marking the dovetail with the off centre grub screws.

To Markymarkf, I have the correct OEM CZ 457 rail with properly spaced grubscrews sat idle?

This ^^ C&H,
This is why I stopped myself trying to fit it, the grubs would hold but prob bite into the nice ribbed part either side of the front n rear holes🤔, will wait to see what optics warehouse say today, will get back to you sir if no replacement from OW,

Cheers Mark 🍻
