My CZ 527 grey thumbhole laminate in .17 Hornet with 1:9 twist. Varmint profile.

Round count around 300

Included in the sale is a calibre specific wildcat moderator, Britannia pic rail, and 2 X genuine magazines.

Incredibly accurate using both Selor and Belliot factory and Hornady superformance factory ammo.

Price on collection £625 or I can RFD for an extra £30.

Reduced now to £600 plus RFD cost if needed



Rifle is in great condition and is a joy to shoot.

I also have around 200 rounds of Hornady Superformance ammo if buyer collects, they can have at a reduced price.

There is also a reloading kit, including a full sealed tub of Lilgun, reloading dies, 300 or so once fired brass, and around 2000 bullets which the buyer will have first refusal to.

Correction it is the Varmint profile barrel

To be honest it's not a large diameter barrel like on most CF rifles. It is more like a sporter profile.

It is, that's why I was surprised it was the varmint.
I'll give it a measure tomorrow so you can judge by yourself

Muzzle end measures at 0.750" or 19.05mm
Which is by no means chunky.

I'm sure my semi weight/light varmint profile rifle measures 0.850"

I'll be honest, I've recently free floated the barrel on my 17 hornet. If it groups better now I'll be keeping it, if not I'll be after a replacement.

I had the same rifle in same calibre. The barrel is a varmint but it tapers and isn't nearly as thick as some of the older model varmints. Lovely manageable rifle and they're very accurate in the .17 Hornet calibre.

Yes it's very accurate and I've never complained about the weight of it.

I may keep it yet if no interest
