I'm contemplating a .223 as a pure foxing setup... this is a handy looking rifle 👌🏽is the barrel cerakoted?

Hi,
just wondered if you know the weight please?
and they apparently used to have issues with magazine insertion and round cycling - any problems for you?
Ive been after a T3 lite but this looks a lovely rifle!
many thanks

Sorry for the slow reply .
A bit of a balancing act , but this is the rifle , bolt , magazine and moderator .

The 1st round from a full magazine can be a little sticky , this only started after the build and Cerakoteing . As the Cerakote is smoothing out its improving .

Thank you for your reply, and I appreciate you weighing it for me.
I've had time to have a good look at this now, and I'm sorry to say I don't think it's right for me. If I already owned a scoped style NV unit I'd jump at this rifle, unfortunately my current NV units are the bulky wraith style that are likely to interfere with the high bolt movement the 527 has.
I think you've got a lovely rifle there at a very fair price, and someone will be lucky to own it !
Thanks for your time.

Really not a problem .

Yes the alpex goes nicely on them. Unfortunately the bulky ones I have - not so much. I’d love to put exactly that on it if I had the spare wonga.

I had to remove the ir from my old N470 , to be fair it was a crap ir . Your post inspired me to do a photo 👍.

As Jason The Turner pointed out , they can be sticky to feed and require a little force to chamber a round .

Any questions please feel free to ask.

17 year old 204 527 never missed a beat reloading but the bolt angle is a pain. Had to take a dremel to a few scopes🤣
