dark engine i.r or DFK ??

iv tried all these on the same night . same conditions, and the blade was the best . with the 4k alpex.. .

The Ludicrus Lumens Wraith ESL is the best torch for the Alpex 4K and one of the smallest and lightest, i’ve had most of them and none of them stack up to the Wraith including the Blade which is not as powerful and so dirty.
Here’s a direct comparison with the Blade and Wraith, sheds at 280yds.
Blade first and you will see the amount of artefacts spoiling the image, Wraith second, different gravy (not properly aligned as it was the first time i used it.)

Huge difference👍🏻

I am not sure about that. I now have access to a Blade, Wraith V3 and original Sirius. The later two are big torches the Blade is slim and compact but as yet not had a chance to try it.
With my N 470s the Wraith is good to 600+. Couldn't get on with the Sirius. I need to have a testing session with them all on the N470s and Atn X sight 5.

Yep, there’s absolutely no need for the big heavy Yukon lensed torches these days.
The Wraith ESL against a PBIR.

a big difference... are they on same night / same weather conditions etc... can hear very windy condition on first video and nothing on second. ?

Yes big difference, same time of year but different nights, but that kinda highlights the difference because windy nights generally have less humidity than still nights, so the Blade technically had the more favourable conditions.

I have never used the L.L wriath, Or do I know anyone local that has or does use it , so I can't say much about it,
out the ones I have used , and tested against each other with the alpex, all on the same night , same weather conditions, same position etc the dark engine blade was better , slightly better than the pbirx,,
just needing to try out the L.L Wraith for my own opinion now I suppose....

Tried my Blade with my N470s. Unbelievable can see much further than I ever shoot. In fact almost too powerful in my case needs to be at lowest setting and full flood.
Far smaller and lighter than a Wraith. Also minimal visible red light emitted from torch.

Not the Wraith ESL its similar size to the Blade, you might be thinking of the original Wraith thats the same size as all the bigger torches like the Sirius and PBIR etc.

This is the thing, alot of folk haven’t tried them so don’t know of their capabilities and just recommend what they use, not everyone can or want to spend £150 on a torch just to see if its better than the ones they use.
Contact Andy at LL and ask him about the ESL for the Alpex, he will sort you out and im sure he will take it back for a refund if you aren’t happy which i doubt would happen.
