Dedito boots

Hi, i’m In the business of looking for new boots and don’t want to remortgage for a pair.
I saw dedito boots at the game fair but as usual can’t find any reviews on them.
Does anyone has any experience with these? I’m using British army boots with gore tex lining and they are very good for the price ,
but leather and brambles are not agreeing with each other.

There is alot of people I know using dedito boots and for the money they are probably hard to beat, I can't comment on them as I never worn them. I had harkilla boots and chameau boots but the ones I go for now are miendl. I had my current pair for 5 years now not looked after them too much now they are giving up the ghost. I think they retail now round 350 mark they are definitely worth getting.

I'd buy once cry once so I'd personal go for some meindls
Nothing wrong with Dedito's. Mine are 2 years old still going strong and I've never cleaned them once. Now that is a bonus! I love my Meindls too but never had a pair that lasted me much over 2 years and they do need regular treatment to look after them.

They are excellent boots. Very hard to beat for sub £200 and require little to no care at all.
Their wellies are also excellent value.

Fantastic boots I had been using meindles for years everyday use and they would last max of two years and need reproofing regular with wax or oils whatever you use, the diddito boots are comfy out the box and have been the best I’ve used, I’ve never heard a bad review and certainly never heard the soles fall off.

Cheers for all the good advise,I had Altbergs, they came apart after day one
I have Meindle half boots, waterproofing questionable.
So I might give dedito a go , let you know after the beating season.

Hi Jager 01
Did you purchase them Dedito boots. Any reviews I think of getting a pair myself.

Just bear in mind the Dedito importer/retailer in the UK will have no interest in helping you out should you have a problem with the boots. Quite awful customer service when mine split.

They seem very hit or miss, if you get a good pair they seem good value, but, there's way too many get sent back for me to buy them, a few keepers mates of mine stopped buying them years ago, one was told by the owner not to buy any more as they "obviously not the boots for him"!!!! He sent 4 pairs back on the bounce because they all leaked!!!!
One Headkeeper bought 6 pairs for him and his underkeepers, 5 pairs went back.

How old were they when it happened ?
4 months old. Yes they’d been worn everyday in that time but when they split around the eyes the laces go through it was a total pantomime dealing with the importer. I gave up as not prepared to jump through the hoops they kept on trying to make me. Worn Dovre Extremes before them and now back to them again.

I'd go for hanwag over meindle any day I've had a good few pairs of meindle and hanwag beat them hands down dedito look good my friend as a pair he likes them they do look the part too

I wear dedito boots, been wearing them every week for the past 2 years and I can't fault them, waterproof, comfy, and very durable, and no maintenance required. My Mrs wears dedito wellies and also swears by them.
