Anyone had / tried both the Muflon and Mallard lines from Deer hunter?
Wanted in camo for our annual goose trip… last 2 years it’s been -10c and snow and we froze … apparently Muflon is more insulated but anyone use in real life?
Had the Deerhunter Muflon bib and brace - perfect for cold high seat days as it’s about an inch thick - can’t move much in it tho - lol once had to be pushed onto the back of a quad bike.
Can’t say I’ve heard of the Mallard.
Alternatively look at the Swedteam Thermo/ Crest booster. Far more flexibility and keeps you just as warm due to being more technical. Generally on sale at Bushwear.
I have the muflon and rusky, my muflon is my go to jacket for most of my nights shooting, and is nice and warm especially with a fleece under it, but it's nowhere near as warm as the rusky, that only comes out in the middle of winter and is far to warm to do a lot of walking in it

I just got a complete set of Muflon extreme jacket and trousers at really good prices as the original muflon lines have just been discontinued for the new muflon pro series. I have to say I don't think I will be using them on anything but really cold days. I can't see the mallard on their website but I can find end of line mallard items in some shops.
