Before I treat myself to a new one, I’m looking for a stainless steel deer carcass trestle cradle.

Ideally one that is sized to suit most of it’s use for Roe and the very occasional Sika.

Within 100 miles of KY15 postcode in Fife but may travel further.

Please pm if you have anything you think might suit.

Thank you

Sold mine to a member here a few years back as I found it wasn't used it that much. It was smiddy made, with fold-down barrow handles and a couple wheels front end for moving about, a reasonable angle top going downward and away, but the best was the top, which was a stainless splashback with a rounded fold in it: you could store stuff underneath on the lower shelf and washing it down and drying it was quick and pleasant rather than a chore.

Still don't understand why they're made with all that muck-catching nooks and crannies, it can't really be a hygiene thing, surely?

If you want a budget option works for roe get a black n decker work mate table / bench
Or a cheaper version ...Lidl do one occasionally.
Open the gap wide as it goes and a roe will sit on its back in gap and allow you to skin em side to side without rolling off

Paul.
