A crystal waggler is a see through plastic still water float! 
I don't really use them on muntjac though. Everyone knows that its much better to use a 'Cheesy hammy eggy' attached with two engerfield clips to a 40metre length of heaving line, tied at 't'other' end to a Neil Robinson Stretcher with a round turn with two half hitches. Works for me everytime!
