Is anyone else having issue with Deerhunter Jacket, specifically the above.

I had to return my 1st jacket as the stitching was coming apart, got a replacement and same situation. And this is after 2 month very light use on both of them.

When contacted Deehunter they wanted to repair the Jacket, I refused and demanded a full refund.

At least you had a reply from them. When I had a complaint about some Deerhunter trousers they never got back to me despite 3 e-mails. I'll never buy another Deerhunter item.

Not that jacket specifically, but I do think that the stitching on deerhunter clothing is pretty poor - very thin thread, and only one row of stitching in places where you'd expect two. Shame, as their kit is very comfy.

+1 on the comfy part and very warm with a fleece underneath. The quality of the fabric used is quality, but as you say stitching is dreadful.

Blimey, that is shocking. I will be contacting the retailer and they can contact Deerhunter.

good morning ,the quality control must have gone amiss, mydeer hunter jacket is over 10years old and can still be used daily no problems other than the zip on the internal fleece failed two years ago but that was not the makers fault<hungry blackthorn bush!>

My MIL had a Deerhunter Lady Mary jacket and the zip broke after 4 times out picking up. The bit that holds the bottom together when zipped up cracked off. Not Deerhunter's fault as it is a YKK zip but you do expect them to select zips that are up to the task.

Mine must be somewhere between 12 and 15 years old, and it's still my jacket of choice for stalking, fishing, daily dog-walking and the like. For the first 3 or 4 years it looked so presentable that it was my normal top-coat wherever I went. - The one downside (which I fixed with press-studs) was the sleeve length which seemed designed for a gorilla ! I suppose I ought to buy another one, but I've got kind of attached to this one - and at my time of life I probably wouldn't get the wear our of it !

I had the same problem with the Pro Gamekeeper Jacket the stitching coming apart around the pocket trims
The Jacket was purchased from Bushwear Via Amazon I requested a return with amazon printed of the return label back to Bushwear and received a full refund around 4 days later so Top marks to Amazon&Bushwear :tiphat:

I had the same issue , the stitching and the taping came off I had to take it back for a refund , I got absolutely drenched one night out , I hung it up to dry at my usual place at the back door when I went to wear it again all the taping was loose I was afraid to wear it incase it fell apart I only had had it a couple of weeks. Took it back to Macleods and they gave me store credit and ended up putting it towards a scope hahaha

Brilliant, by the end of it the Deehunter ended up costing you more than what you anticipated.

Spoke to the retailer and said they need to send it back to Deerhunter for their opinion before a refund can be activated. What a pain in the backside.

All I can say stay way from Deerhunter Jackets.
