Dentler mounts

Anyone using Dentler mounts to swap different optics onto the same rifle and/or the same optic to different rifles? Overall how do you find them?
I'm sure they work, but a lot of pictures/videos I've seen make them look quite high compared to a normal rail/base and rings. Is that the case?

I'm hoping to swap between two different scopes on my 308 for a while, and then possibly if/when I add another rifle back in I'll look at a Vario base for that one so that I can use one of the scopes on either rifle.

They do work but somewhat fiddly to setup. If you are just looking at one rifle with two scopes then there are better options.

Get a Blaser and use their saddle mounts. They just work.

Dentelers do work. But they need to be set up with extreme care. There are many parts involved, so there‘s a lot of potential for failures. Plus they are heavy and build high.

18 mm is not very high though, is it?

I think I need to decide how useful/likely it would be for me to swap scopes onto different rifles. Otherwise I'll be looking at MAKuick or Innomounts or... something?

It's the height and potential weight of the Dentler system that puts me off

If you are worried about weight keep off the innomounts in steel.

Presumably the adjustable "Vario" Dentlers are higher than the fixed? It might be easier just to make a note of scope clikcs if I'm only sharing between two rifles...

I have this set up on my R8pro success it means I can swap my Swarovski scope over my.243 and.308 barrels been using it for about five years and never re-zeroed so it works
