Ive had great success resizing .308 brass to suit.
Also did some .243 but it formed a donut external at the shoulder/neck junction & required neck turning to remove

Both lapua brass & all working great still

Lube the brass, run it through a 7-08 full length die, trim if necessary and load!

just buy the ppu brass,you wont use a 100 rounds a year stalking <as you have to pay for your stalking> and those rounds you do fire you will have the cases to reload .

Gosh i had a 7-08 maybe about 20 years ago? What you need to do is " learn to reload " , your ammo will be way cheaper for ever ! The full RCBS kit is ideal for a newby loader yet can carry you through to serious competitive shooting .
New good quality 308 cases are a one hit in the press with a full sized 7.08 die . when you reload your own its economic to purchase at least as you can load these ten times or more

Hoping someone can help out here.

Trying to keep my stalking on the cheap moving forwards and bought myself a cheap 7mm-08 Steyr. Seemed a fantastic idea until I realised how scarce factory loads are!

Does any of you chaps have some 7mm-08 brass that you’d be willing to sell to save me forking out £70 for PPU brass online?
