Plenty moose here. No cats. Just allow the stoats to keep them down. if I kill too many moose the stoats take our small bantums. if I kill the stoats the mice and rats eat more of the chickens feed. If my wine buys me a Vietnamese cook books I can eat them all, problem solved.
Are they that bad at your place John? We've had a bumper crop here too but nothing like that. We're catching two to three per day in the house. Thats been every day for two months now and the new cats in the barn are getting six per night. We pitch them out in the same spots every morning and the crows come to clean them up. You could say we have a truce with the crows so long as they're doing a job.

Not at mine Scott,we dont get the plagues as the grain cropping country does. Yes they are unbelievable in the big years of simply millions. They walk around farm cats as the cats are so full and bored they just don`t care.
