Wanted: Dillon press

Almost never used it as I bought it new direct from Dillon 1994 in the USA and then after my return to the UK 1995 the pistol ban came in in 1996 while I was working in Argentina so it has had almost no use. Now it is in Germany still not being used as I never did pick up pistol shooting here as there are no local ranges. Coming back to UK in mid November for a few weeks if you are serious.

Price please ,I am about hour from Dover so will be able to collect.
Also if you could send photos I can say weather press is for me
Thanks grahame

FYI,
Its precise manufacture and feel gave the impression it'll last a long time, it has a lifetime warranty, and it was affordable. Dillon RL 550B, $1,070 (as tested). Buy It.
We’d buy the Dillon first over the other two systems because of Dillon’s experience at producing these things, the grand feel of precision this machine gave, the fact that it worked to perfection with all our cartridges, the availability of Dillon’s instant help over the phone, their lifetime warranty, the great appearance and fine finish of the machine and all its parts, and, not least, their great resale value. Also, no matter what we could think of to ease our loading chores, Dillon had an accessory available for the RL 550B. Neither of the other two press makers had a fraction of the extensive accessories of the Dillon, all of which makes us put the RL 550B at the very top of our list.

Thanks for info but RL550C is $590 plus postage for basic model excellent value for what I want press for case prep

Also plus import duty and VAT. Basic RL550c probably more like £700+ without accessories in the UK. Lovely bit of kit and well worth the money.

Currently running 4 of them….not one for swapping out calibres. I concur, excellent machines, just the right pace to learn your craft too. I’ve an older (Recent purchase) 650 for .44/.45. That can fairly crank them out!…but a lot to be said for the slower 550’s and even my wee SDB.

Hello all, looking at get dillon press for case prep any spare ones out there
MGD, when you say case prep? I’m doing all mine on 2 Lee APP presses. Deprime, resize etc. I also use them for bullet sizing cast pistol calibre heads. They’re surprisingly good for the money and readily available…unlike the Dillons you fancy. That said, I’ve now acquired a total of six blue machines ( 4x 550’s, 1 SDB and an older 650 with case feeder) and can attest to their quality. Good luck

I know a dealer that has a few but it's getting him to let me build them up to see what he has ! There are a few unsure if there 550b or S,deals or 650 untill I open the very large boxes.

Exciting…. They need to be “Free’d” to fulfil their destiny! Keep at him….
