I wouldn't pay and have never paid to shoot ducks.... in my neck of the woods its a complimentary offer made after a syndicate driven day, in a splash with wilds.
I charge £70 per gun per flight, no limit, keep what your shoot. I used to charge less than extra for picking up, but found some guns would let their dogs run around the whole time spoiling it for everyone else, so pick up myself now included in the price

That is fair on both counts, When I go to pick up I park right away from the ponds as one gun was late so drove down never got a shot and had a lung shot mallard land on the windscreen....he had a smashing time!
It is funny seeing duck come past what we call town guns and they don't see them..
Just a thought. In some places e.g. USA the "baiting" of migratory birds in order to shoot what is seen as more than your fair share of the resource is a serious offence.
NE and NRW are slowly destroying true wildfowling by the use of restricted consents on protected sites - SSSIs etc. It is a bit hard to swallow while waiting for your ration of one wigeon to hear the fusillade from flight ponds close by.
