DIY chiller

Evening all,

In a few weeks I will take delivery of a massive 14x10 shed which I am customising one end (with separate door) into a chiller, it will be 4x6, fully insulated and panelled extra with racks. Im pretty handy having taken on some pretty big DIY projects much bigger than this and more technical and have a plan with insulation, load bearings and food hygiene etc but, I have no experience with the A/C unit stuff. Any general advice, has anyone done anything like this. Iv seen the guys in the states building them with a Coolbot so I’m sure I could follow this set up. Just putting the feelers out there really for tips. As usual there’s loads of content from the yanks, but not the Brits on YouTube. Most searches on British media seem to just be selling prefabricated units because of sponsorship etc.

TIA

Give the team @Game Larder a shout as they sell chiller units separately also. Will literally consist of cutting out the appropriate size hole for the unit to slide into, and away you go.

Type in your cubic feet and see what units will cover that figure as you will be buying a unit from the UK and not the USA
