I've not looked for the legislation but have a friend who's a keeper on a large, famous shooting estate. He's told me that he no longer legally has to check his DOC traps everyday and he would know.ill admit i cant find any decent info on checking doc traps, if i find out im wrong ill admit. any one got a link?
It does advise regular checks which I agree is a bit ambiguous.bpca guide tells you nothing of checking traps and time guide lines
Correct. If something steps on the plate it’s skull is getting crushed. No if’s or buts about it.Can I ask the the reason this type of trap doesn't require daily checks, are they deemed 100% effective and safe?
