Dogs Trust - third party liability insurance

I have just had an email from DT indicating they are going to withdraw insurance as a benefit because of the cost to the charity of insuring XL Bully dogs and subsequent claims. Rather than withdrawing insurance on just that breed, they have taken the decision to stop the benefit for all.

A bit annoying as I self insure for vet bills etc but not 3rd party

Where can I go now?

Some house insurance policies cover for 3rd party damage injury by dogs, need to check mine now as I did not know about the dogs trust removing all cover, I thought they only removed it for banned breeds.

Must admit not something I've ever thought off before.

I tke it ur basc/ngo/sga/ca membership won't cover u?
Assuming u work the dog training and walking are all part of it.

Was there a timeline on the withdrawl of the insurance? I self insure both of my dogs for vet bills, but have donated to the dogs trust for some years because they gave third party insurance. If this stops I will have to start serching?
