DSC1 with Moray Outfitting-Recommended!

Hi all,

Recently undertook a DSC1 course with Moray Outfitting and would like to recommend them.

Manuals were sent out promptly after registration and all of my questions were answered.

The course was two days long and very well run. On the first day advice was freely offered when asked and I was provided with useful tips when it came to remembering open/closed seasons for different deer species in England/Wales and Scotland.

Shooting test went well, no pressure at all just take your time and most of all enjoy it!

Location is also not too far from Aberlour which is a beautiful part of the country. I bought my lunch here and ate it next to the Spey.

Caberslash, totally agree with your recommendation. Did the DSC1 with John this weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Moray Outfitting also provided 1 month free access to the excellent DSC Training website, which allows practice questions online. Both the online training tool and John's advice, stories and tips were all invaluable. I'm going stalking with John in December and will definitely contemplate using Moray Outfitting for the DSC2 outings.

Another recommendation for John and Andy at Moray Outfitting. I did DSC 1 and 2 with them and can thoroughly recommend. Also for anyone starting out, they don’t sell gear they haven’t tested and wouldn’t use themselves. They’ll keep you right.

Make that another, done DSC1 couple years ago & enjoyed it. Make you feel very comfortable & as well as the task in hand, had a good laugh as well.
Would recommend.

I've known John for knocking on the door of 20 years now and between him and Andy they are pretty much a one-stop-shop for training, advice and equipment.

I was out with them in early December, and will likely be back up again next month. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Seriously though you won't go far wrong with Moray Outfitting.
Highly recommend them.

A bit late i know but did my DSC 1 with them before the whole country went into lockdown, highly recommend them!

They are totally flexible and are willing, if they can make it work to run a course for just one person!

Just waiting for my certificate to come through which is no doubt delayed because of "this thing" going.
