DSC2 now the wait

I had my witnessed stalk a few weeks ago, had my phone call today. James from BASC was great, it was indeed a focused chat about things that were done and those that weren't (I didn't wound and need to follow up etc).

Now to wait on his side of the paperwork.

Hopefully I get a pass and another stalk isn't needed.

For all of those who are worried about the phone assessment side of things, don't.

Bit of both, I figured it couldn't hurt me finding some local land (mine is 3 hours away).
I was contemplating it, and when I won a danum knife at the stalking show took it as a sign / excuse to do it.
It'll prove to me that I'm at the next level of competence.

My certificate was delivered today.
The system seems fairly straightforward.

Congratulations! It’s a great feeling, but a nervous one at the same time.

How did you find the whole process over all? I felt there was a lot noise and scare mongering about it. But it really was straight forward. You turn up, carry out a normal stalk and go home again. Write a brief report and then talk about it on the phone with a like minder person.

That's exactly it.
My AW is a guy I know from my gun club, so it was a good couple of days of stalking with a mate, but under "exam conditions" where it counted.

I just need to get the head measured now, it may be a nice extra bonus.
