hey this is to anyone who’s done it before or who is a aw or assessor.
If you are doing your stalk on there the aw’s land and u have never been before. How does that work? Knowing boundaries ect and just knowing land?
Or do they lead the stalk still?
Thanks rob

Things to take in, a morning stalk it could be dark at the start so any briefing you get will be out the window as you will be thinking of all the other stuff. It will be like asking directions from someone who is telling you how to get to a place they know very well and you don't (we all have done it!)
You can't look at a map as you are looking for deer!
Unless you are doing a trip around a wood or down a ride (just going one way) then tear the footpath backstop rule book up.
If you are intent on doing it then ask for a late morning stalk to give you half a chance.
Sorry it was a genuine question, I didn’t know how it worked, I thought they might guide you to the area and you do the final part of the stalk.
when I done my dsc1 I heard people was doing them in deer parks.
