Just read this link from a Rescue Org based in Aberdeenshire, they state Nature Scot have collated 43,000 DVC's across the country between 2022 and 2024. To me this data questions the nationally accept annual 74000 DVC's which is always quoted in the press. I'm aware this data is hard to measure and I'm sure there are many more DVC's than actually get reported simply because motorists don't know how, are running late, couldn't give a sh+t or in the case of HGV didn't know they hit one, naturally there are reasons too
