Electric capstan winch on Ebay

As title, just wondered if anyone had one and how you get on with it?
They sell for app £370, so I'm not too hopeful! No doubt it's Chinese.

No personal experience. The same item is on amazon for a fiver less. Lots of reviews on there which look positive. I might give one a go. I personally wouldn't put too much faith in the rope that comes with it.

Spare battery is expensive at £80. The 4ah is about £30 more but not suitable for the winch.

I've just read two reviews mentioning supplied rope failure.

Not personally, but I have used one on a couple of occasions for deer extraction. It was very good
