Electric Quad

60V 50Ah lead acid, to get max battery life you should not deplete more than 50% -> 150W power for claimed 10 hours. Or 45min with the claimed top power of 2000W.

You can add 50% to those figures if you deplete to 33% level. But then need to recharge in fast order.

Wonder what they mean with single motor and direct drive 4wd... maybe that there is single motor and no gearbox, only (trans)axles driving the wheels?

Doubt it will be very quiet. All kinds of whining might be closer to truth, and even with higher frequencies that human won't hear but quarry might.

Might be OK for vermin, but definitely not for deer (stated capacities etc)

If you want quiet get a jimney and you also don't get wet!
Electric vehicles are rarely silent and make high frequency noises that critters will hear.

Oh, and don't park it in a barn or shed in case it decides to deflagrate!

The IAA in Hannover is on as of today till Sunday with lots of up to 40 ton leccy trucks on show, my son in law is working up there for three days. Tech seems to be moving forward at a pace.

I was thinking the other day how an electric quad would be good for stalking. Loads of torque, just keep an eye on the battery in the winter
My concern is that an 'on paper' impressive battery life figure may well be significantly - even painfully - diminished by the use of the torque required as part of standard off-road operation. Even more so when loaded.

It's not impressive even on paper.

There's just a random figure (10 hours) but if you look at rest of the numbers (like my previous post) there's nothing to be impressed of.
