Electrolux V400TN

I have a Electrolux V400 which normally sits at around 4° consistently, recently every now and then it drops to below freezing sets off the temp alarm but doesn't return to normal temperature.
I switch it off, leave a minute or two then switch back on and it comes back up to a steady temperature, what do you think it could be?
Temp sensor????

sounds like dust or debri blocking the cooling fins causing the compressor to run longer. give the back and bottom around the motor a good clean .

Thanks for the comment, I have checked around the back and it's fairly clean. I did notice that the condence tray was full of water which I have emptied, I will keep an eye on it.
