My name is Achmed,I like the wool still on my condoms.

On that website it doesn't mention on the "cons" list that Lance the Chihuahua /Poodle might eat the lamb ones.

I think it was rather stupid of you to suggest that you could tell where someone was (or wasn't) born, simply by their name.
Unfortunately when we post a job offer now, even if it is only in the local Jobseeker shop, we get inundated by foreigners (as in 50:1) who have no right to live or work here. This never used to happen up to about 8 years ago.

For example, I advertised for a gardener last week, and got applicants from Sudan, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, etc, despite the advert stating clearly that the applicants must live within 20 miles of Edinburgh and either be a British citizen or have a permanent right to work and reside in the UK. In addition to the applications from foreigners who have never been to the UK, there were loads of people applying who came here to study (and return to their home country with their new skills, to improve their home environment), who want a job, who would require sponsorship as they have no permanent right to work here, and would take a job as a gardener just above min wages.

So, for the past year, I look down the list of applicants and all non-European names get ticked, and rejected. I just do not have the time to sort out who has a right to work and reside and who does not. Too many times the applicants lie and waste our time.

The Government's immigration policy is working against people who were born here but whose parents hail from foreign soils. We would treat their application exactly the same as a person whose family has been here for 1000 generations, but they carry a foreign name which makes them indistinguishable from the applicants whom we cannot accept. There are just so many applicants for any job, we do not have the means to filter these out other than by name.

Over 10% of the world's population wants to move to the UK, and when they come, they strip their native country of their most valuable resource: fit, able bodied men. Try getting medical care in Nigeria - almost all the good, or even average, doctors have come to the UK. This is worse than slavery - we are dooming billions of people to an impoverished lifestyle, run by corrupt governments, because we stream in their sons as soon as their own country has finished educating them, year on year. Do-gooders who think otherwise, need to get out more.

The 2nd Law of Thermodynamics applied to charitable works, is that for all the good things you try and do, over half are actually bad things when reviewed in the cold light of day after the event. Mass immigration is one of those, and that should have been obvious to anyone who had a brain.
