English partridge

Earlier this week someone posted a thread about seeing roe bucks with large antlers in velvet. Other people commented on other strange things that this mild weather has brought on but has anyone else noticed English partridge pairing up. I thought the first pair I saw was just maybe a pair left from a small covey but since then iv seen several other pairs.
