After joining the sd I became friends with a polish stalker (glogin) based in Glasgow and trust me you couldn't meet a nicer fella. The hours and work the man has put into stalking and making videos is countless and also learned a few tips from him. He has returned to his homeland and still stalking and making quality videos.......well done greg

We have a polish lady working in our kitchen at school a real credit to poles and a nicer sweeter girl would be hard to meet .

Well said. Unfortunately there's probably not so much money to be laundered off spending it on that.

Most of the sub contractors i use are Polish and its a total myth that they are cheeper than UK workers.
A typical skilled worker is 120 -150 a day reguardless of where they come from
They arnt putting UK workers out of work because they are cheep, they do it because they do show up for work and they do work when they get there.
They all have to be CIS to work for us so they all pay 20% tax at sorce.
I only wish we could export the lazy good for nothing scrounging gits on the social and replace them all with workers no matter where they originated from.
As an employer we are often aproached to offer work to long term unemployed people. I have taken on four and two of them were offered a collage day as well financed by the tax payer so they could become quallified plasterors.
I had to sack all four of them for failure to turn up to work
Two of them offered me money to sack them so they could go back on the scrounge
I informed the DHSS and they wernt interested
All of them are no doubt sitting on their sofas in their tax payer funded properties, smoking tax payer funded fags @ £7 a pac, watching the Jeremy Kyle re runs on their 50" tax payer funded plasmas
Thats todays real problem not the hard working imigrents

How short memoried we are at times. I'm sure many of us will remember a series back in the early 80's called 'auf wiedersehen pet' which featured a group of Geordie builders which went out to Germany to work as the money was better. It was commonplace then for British builders to go and work in Europe.
I don't have a problem with any hard working person wishing to better their life. If it wasn't for Eastern Europeans, many of the crops in East anglia would remain in the fields.
I believe that anyone that is able to work should be given work if they are to receive any money in 'benefits'. Even if it is clearing litter form the side of the road or similar. That way many of the proper scroungers would be prevented from moonlighting or becoming Ebay power sellers at our expense!

Given the scant regard for the gift of education that many seem to show, I'm not sure that the memorial isn't a better use for the money... £50M wouldn't go very far towards building a hospital either.

Immigrants have been coming to Britain for centuries. The Romans, Angles and Saxons (Germanic peoples), Vikings, Normans, and that only takes us up to 1066. It's been happening ever since to a greater or lesser degree. Show me any Briton and in all likelihood there'll be some relatives from way back from somewhere else.
But it's true that this green and pleasant land has only so much space. Entering the EU in effect meant for the nearest part of the world to us, anyone could come and settle here at will. This effectively meant we surrendered control as to who could come and live here. I think we should look at places like Australia. They have no specifications as to where you come from, the colour of your skin or religion. All they specify (with their points system, perhaps not perfect but what would be) is that if you come, you are a productive member of society who will not be a drain on the country's resources and you fill a need. Seems like a good idea in principle to me.
