correct they way work very hard but the vast majority of the money earned goes out of the country so its of little benefit to the economy

Lads my real point here is that the opportunity to create two apparently successful and good service businesses existed before these two young guys left Poland. They did not steal anybody's job, they contribute towards this country through taxes etc, what they do with the profits they make to my mind is entirely up to them. I am not saying that all European Immigrants are the same but I am saying that they are a fine example to ANY youngsters who wish to make something of themselves through their skills.

If you look into the prisons and you will see how many foreigners fill cells it goes to show how easy it is for the criminals to cheat the immigration system. It also cost the country a lot of tax payers money each year for the police to use interpreters for foreigners who cannot speak English when it comes to law, but quite capable when it comes down to claiming benefits.As for successful business and filtering money out of the country, I do not think the local community would crumble without them. Sorry but there should be some sort of numbers allowed. It is down to us to sort out our benefit systems and not open it up to everyone. Then the NHS with free cover for all. Ok them why do we need insurance in Spain France Poland etc when on holiday. This country has turned into a soft touch.
If our home grown masses had the work ethic of the eastern Europeans then I'm sure the current situation wouldn't have arisen.
Fact is, there's plenty of Britains who just want to sit around on handouts, while someone else does the work.
I have a hugarian friend from a poor background who I admire very much - she wants to be a farmer in Hungary, so came here to raise the necessary capital. She turned up in the UK aged 19 with no money, no contacts, nothing and got the shittiest job imaginable, working in a hospital morgue for a pittance. Could you see any of our citizens taking on that job when they could get more money on the social? She saved everything, and invested in training - she's now a class 1 HGV driver earning about £35K per year. She's managed to buy several properties in Hungary, including the land for her farm. Another couple of years and she'll have raised enough to build her farmhouse and put in place all the infrastructure she needs, and then she's off home.
I stand in awe of her sheer determination to succeed. There's always room in the world for folk like that.

Good on her. But she probably has no Brittish mortgage to pay,no kids to put through British university and no British retirement to fund. She earns good money here and invests in her own country where money goes a long way.
You can't blame her for doing it though can you. I suppose if we could speak American and just get over there and not get kicked out,we could try the same formular.

We would not need as many doctors if we did not treat and cure people who has not put into the system. Let them go back to there own countries for treatment as we have to.

For me the boot is on the other foot as I'm an EU immigrant working and living in Sweden. I'm retired but still work. I work because its better than sitting home allday and the company asked me to. I've never felt that I'm taking a Swede's job. The reason for this is that they find it hard to get good Swedish workers because many young swedes are work shy and don't like to get their hands dirty.
The factory also employs people from Lebanon, Greece, Kosavo all good workers. I pay into the Swedish system and take from the system when i need to.
I remember one of the last jobs i did before leaving England where i had Polish Students labouring all good lads unlike the lazy English trash that turned up sometimes for work.

Subtle, very subtle, but that's the way it's done. someone speaks up for what he believes is best for the country and others very carefully undermine him, just enough to discredit him.
Go to any major european country and you will hear the same story. The French, the Germans, the Scandi's, possibly worst the Italians. It's a huge problem that's just getting worse.
I'm all up for a diverse culture, which is exactly what we enjoy in the UK. Look at British history and the way we behaved 300 years ago and we can hardly complain about it. But the last 30 years have seen a total loss of control and a % (not all) of immigrants who we don't want or need.
It's an EU problem and one the EU need to fix, or we will not be the only ones who take to the ballot and tell our governments to leave - which I think for many other reasons would be a real shame.

subtle, as someone who is going to be a immigrant as of March 1st, I would hate to think, that the people of NZ were thinking the same about me.

Quite, along with the other 2.3 million brits that have left these shore's, to move to Spain, Portugal, Australia, NZ, Croatia Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania Poland, Germany, France, Italy, Skandinavia USA etc etc etc, figures show as many of us have moved to the EU countries as vica versa.
Shock Horror, some even work in foreign Hospitals.... IMO the real issue lies with the local population of lazy scrounging c***s that think its great to be getting paid for naff all and be paid to be featured on TV or in the Tabloids, the same tabloids that propagate the fear and anxiety about immigrants scrounging off us.
