Any advice given around recoil?

Never really noticed it above or beyond what I feel on the normal shoulder.
If your head is in the right place for your eye to see through the scope then the butt is usually in the right place too.
Just double check tho as it won’t feel instinctively that it’s in the right place.
The biggest issue is reloading with the right hand if you need to take a quick second shot.
I would also just practice on a target first as your shot placement may differ based on your left eye being different to your right (unless it’s a digital scope)

I occasionally shoot weak hand/shoulder for competitions with rifles, would not want to try it on live quarry without plenty of practice and re-zero. Interestingly my eye dominance changed a few years ago so technically I am right handed/ left eye dominant now and can shoot a shotgun from either shoulder equally badly.

As others have said, probably worth following medical advice and not risking it.

I had a medical procedure done on my right eye (dominant eye) and is a bit blurry at the moment, but the doctor said it will clear up, but it might take some time.
Did anyone successfully learned to shoot left handed ? (or right handed if you are left handed)
How difficult can be? I wouldn't want to miss the roe rut!

As has been mentioned above, don't rush back to shooting in case you do damage to the repaired eye. Check with the opthalmics team just to make sure.
If they're happy with progress and ok with shooting, it's not too difficult to swap eyes. I lost the sight in my dominant right eye and had to start using my left eye. The muscle memory obviously changes as you'll be mounting the rifle in a different way, but rifles are easier to swap than shotguns. Judging distance with one eye is also a nightmare (which also explains why my clay busting skills are a bit rubbish now!). I use whatever rifle is available and don't find it too difficult reloading in a hurry - just watch out for the empty cases coming back at your face if you're too energetic!

I'm right handed, left eye dominant. Took me no time at all to switch to shooting fully left handed. Feels completely natural now

The hardest part I found was reloading a shotgun; it took a while to get used to. rifle was a doddle, though.

In the same position , having cataract surgery next Friday on my right eye, tried shooting from my left but find it very awkward, didnt know about the need to re zero, why would that be ? the rifle is the same.

Yes, in the Army back during Northern Ireland training when we had the SLR. Everyone trained to shoot off the alternate shoulder and was assessed. It wasn't difficult and comes in handy now when shooting from a high seat or static Gator.

I had a greatuncle who lost the sight in his right eye. He had his shotgun modified to a crossover stock so he still shot right handed but using his left eye. He was still the best shot in the shoot.

I had both my lenses replaced in March, not laser, both natural lenses completely changed. I am the most right handed person you will meet but have always shot lefty. Rifle is not a problem but there’s no way you’ll master shotgun shooting off your weaker shoulder/eye with any great results. As previously said, let the eye heal naturally before putting yourself in situations that can damage it. Your optometrist won’t give you a second chance!

To answer your question, yes , I can if I want, one is 10 minutes away from home.
However, I was deemed fit to drive.

Funnily enough I was left eye dominant but shoot from the right shoulder, I’ve always been a reasonable shot with a rifle but a bad shot with a shotgun. Five years ago my left eye lost a fight with a wood screw and now is proper ….ed , I went out clay shooting with my son and was pretty darn good at it. Now I love a wander with my little 410 and for the first time in the last 40 years I actually enjoy shotguns.
