Carbon steel blade, handle, cross guard and fixing nut are brass, all treated a Cerakote finish in Sniper Green colour.
It is a very cool thing indeed.




As you will see, one side displays the correct F-S engravings, the second side is sterile, also as would have been the case.
The sheath brought bang up to date too with a super clicky Kydex offering (you don't want this coming loose whilst 'jumping'
), moulded in a complementary green with very secure and adaptable TekLok clip fitting.
Difficult to know how to price this it was a real labour of love, I will never recoup what it stands me at.
I think this historical reworking is worth every single penny of£395 £345 so that is where I will start.
I should also mention that this is not sharp as such, it does have a whet edge under the coating but you won't be cutting much, it was never designed as a cutter and they were not supplied sharp, geometry etc is all wrong for that, they were designed and made for one job.
