Fallow liver

Hi all, fallow shot (high neck) saturday evening (2nights ago) bled and gralloched straight away (10mins)
Offal kept in carrier bag, rinsed off and put into fridge after 50/60mins.

Sorting liver today and this is how it looks, notice the mottled effect, looks and smells fine, no fluke. Everything else otherwise healthy, just not noticed this before and want to check its safe.

Was it that colour when you cleaned the deer out? I would bin it as they should be dark. for the sake of a liver bin it

Looks more like the spleen than the liver to me.

no its most certainly the liver il chuck it anyway just incase thanks all
