Farmers Weekly - How farmers can tackle the booming deer population

I agree with you I used to love my pigeon shooting but on drillings and young crops it's better to go lots of times rather than let them build up. But I think you know that already.
Conditions dictate all forms of successful shooting so finding a good wind in the right direction for a decent day is not so easy thus cutting down the chances with people like JTO making daft comments.
No I don't agree in going lots of times to a spot to shoot a few as it is not productive and only serves to educate the ones you miss or others coming with them. You can spot birds who have seen a rotary/decoy pattern as they have been shot at before and flare off so a waste of a trip.
A chap took 5 people local on some Lucerne last week bright sunshine no wind (in the wrong direction) 10 shots all day
3 trips same field right conditions 2/3 week 65-75-92 :tiphat:

No different to Fallow who are getting hammered on the land next door they turn into feeding at night bit I think people will know that.

So someone shooting foxes to protect grouse/pheasants it's a job and can be paid and someone shooting foxes to protect anything else isn't a job and must do it for free.
The post was about recreational shooters getting paid to shoot foxes not if it's your job , obviously you get paid if it's your job 🤦‍♂️

Nobody said you must do it for free just you wont get paid round here. Understand!!
