Father and son moment

Well done, moment to treasure. Some of my fondest memories are hunting with dad, despite his lack of patience with noisy small boys🤣.
Best of luck to both of you in future endeavours together.

That's fantastic, it's what I'd usually describe as a fish grin, but a muntjac smile works too. I've just put mine to bed for an early start tomorrow for his second day shooting. We shall see!

Thanks everyone. He's not old enough to understand why I've passed on a few deer previously but this evening, everything fell into place. We're going to skin it tomorrow, mum's going to tan it and then process it Sunday.

Epic. :thumb:

Taken my 10 year old to the range numerous times and he loved it.

Next is the big step of getting him to sit still in a seat for three hours :-|
well done Memorable day lab77 for you and your son
i remember first days i took my lad deer stalking he shouted out “there’s one “ dad. On the second outing of his deer stalking career

Thankfully he has improved somewhat now and tells me off for even whispering when we share a high seat and I’m told to concentrate my energy on the matter in hand :old:
