Federal 308 110gn - Scotland

Before I got the .243 for foxing I was using .308 with 110gr . .243 came and I had 10 vmax left so took them on roe. Two behind the shoulder and one through the shoulders. everything around and forward was dog food. In comparison to 155 scenars which were fabulous and yes target bullets but hollow point and yes they do expand. So yes 110 gr they work , but for the love of god dont!

Thank you for all the replies , very informative and had the red lights flashing ! On balance it looks like the 150gn wins the day and saves me having to re zero . Out of curiosity I will put a few rounds of 110 gn down on a paper target and see how they group as some online info warns of requirement for higher twist rates to retain stability which can be a problem with .30 cals depending on make. Will follow up on gun shops.
