Wanted: Final nudge for any deerstalkers in Sussex area

Hello, I made a post about a month ago and have joined two deer stalkers (thank you!) But would love to see if anyone else interested. To recap I am a freelance photojournalist and documentary photographer based in the Brighton area. I am looking to make a photo series about deer stalking and management in the South East, in light of recent headlines surrounding the estimated two million deer population.

I am hoping to shadow professional deer stalkers holding DSC2, who are comfortable being photographed — ideally in the Sussex area. Most people are familiar with deer stalking imagery from the Highlands, but far less so from the busy South East. I would like to capture the reality of deer management in this landscape in the form of a photo essay.

To get a sense of the look and feel of my work, please see previous stories and my main portfolio here: www.jonbrowning.co.uk/stories and email me a j@jonbrowning.co.uk

I would hope to have the series picked up by reputable media and published as a photo feature ( although never guaranteed! ) My work has been featured in the Sunday Times Magazine, Telegraph Magazine, Guardian Weekend Magazine, and a number of European titles.

If you are interested, please send me a DM with some details about your experience and location.

Thank you, Jonathan
